Cincinnati Spotlight: Restaurants You Must Try

First Watch. Freshness is key at this daytime breakfast, brunch, and lunch ©. This restaurant chain is at the vanguard of the health-conscious sector of the food industry. Whether you’re ordering a superfood kale salad, or one of their many freshly squeezed juices using all natural fruits and vegetables, or a protein-packed, power breakfast quinoa bowl, they keep nutritional value without sacrificing flavor.

Lacheys. You’ll definitely feel the heat at former 98-degrees superstar, Nick Lacheys sports bar. The theme here is it’s always 5 o’clock somewhere, from their 5 o’clock wings to their unique and elaborate drink menu. And you certainly do not want to miss out on their half off signature tot bowls on Fridays. This favorite starter comes with three different flavors of tater tots: jerk rub, spicy garlic, or bacon and cheddar cheese, all served with beer cheese, malt vinegar aioli, and Lacheys ketchup. I don’t blame Napoleon Dynamite for not wanting to share his tots either_

Deweys Pizza. If you are looking for some wacky, over the top, awesome pizzas, Deweys Pizza is the place you want to be. With an incredible list of pizzas, salads, and calzones, itll be hard to pick just one thing! Deweys offers pizzas like the Edgar Allan Poe with olive oil, mozzarella-fontina blend, mushrooms, roasted garlic, kalamata olives, and goat cheese, with fresh tomatoes and parsley after the bake. Or try their candied walnut and grape salad with field greens, candied walnuts, red grapes and gorgonzola cheese, tossed with Deweys citrus basil vinaigrette. With eight different locations in Cincinnati, you have no excuse not to stop in today!

Keystone Bar. Comfort food and great beer is the perfect recipe for this casual dining spot. Whats not to love about 9 different varieties of mac-n-cheese all named after celebrities. Want to indulge in Pink Floyd, which is a mac-n-cheese loaded with bacon and caramelized onions, or how about the BB King, which has BBQ chicken and bacon on it, or maybe you’re in the mood for some Fleetwood Mac, which is piled high with mozzarella, pesto, and tomatoes. The choice is up to you!

Tafts Ale House. Located in this former church, is a brand-new, three-level brewery, bar, and restaurant. This three-story brewpub gives homage to former President, William Howard Taft, as various antiques of his are tucked away throughout the venue. But aside from the unforgettable atmosphere, Tafts is known for their tri-tip steak, which undergoes a 21-day, five-step preparation process before it is served to perfection on our plates. And you certainly do not want to overlook the long list of original brews, which come with their own set of unique hops, tropical hints, dark aromas, and refreshing flavors. This is definitely a destination spot.

Delicio Coal Fired Pizza. At this artisan pizzeria, you will find a menu packed with Italian flavor and fresh ingredients. If you’re craving pizza, try their Cheddar Mac Pizza, with zesty creme fraiche, formaggio-fusione, aged cheddar and mezzaluna macaroni. And if none of these serious pies are what you are in the mood for, go ahead and make your own, as they offer a plethora of homemade sauces, cheeses, and toppings for your own creation. And pizzas aren’t the only thing on this succulent menu; order from their long list of sandwiches, soups, and appetizers, too!

Buffalo Wild Wings. With an unbelievably long list of wings, sharables, burgers, sandwiches, and drinks, you simply cant go wrong at Buffalo Wild Wings! B-Dubs offers two types of wings: traditional wings, and boneless wings, as well as 21 sauces ranging from salt and vinegar seasoning to BLAZIN so you will be sure to find a flavor you love.
