A Midsummer Day’s Brew

Very few things are better than an ice-cold beer on a hot, midsummers day. So for all of those beer lovers out there, we’ve compiled a list of our favorite Nowait breweries to journey to! So lets rejoice, and raise our glasses to a good ole-refreshing brew.

Hofbrauhaus, Newport, KY. Want to drink like Bavarian kings? Well here at Hofbrauhaus, you can! All beer is created in-house, using recipes that trace back to the Duke of Bavaria, over 400 years ago! These beers are easy on the palate, yet tasty and refreshing. While you’re here, you must try their most popular beer trio: the ever so hoppy premium lager, the dark and mysterious dunkel, and the rich, yet fruity hefe weizen. Careful of that first sip, you may never want to stop!

Ex Novo Brewing Co, Portland, OR. This brewery is a true rarity, blending fine craft beer with positive social change. That’s right, Ex Novo is a non-profit brewery committed to donating 100% of their net profits to impact social justice both in Portland and around the world. So at Ex Novo, you’ll be changing the world, glass by glass!

Mountain State Brewing, Morgantown, WV. Owners Brian and Willie were raised on easy drinking beers and homemade wine, and decided to combine the two in their first batch of homebrew. And voila, the largest full-scale, microbrewery and distributor in West Virginia was created! While here, you must try the Rumsey Rock Porter, which is filled with bold hops and chocolate currents! All beers are incredibly dynamic, so you cant go wrong with any item on the menu.

This place really has it all!
